The Platinum Tools 202016J EZ-RJ45 Cat6+ 50/50 Combo Pack includes 50 EZ-RJ45 connectors and 50 EZ Strain Reliefs. The patented EZ-RJ45® Connector enhances the process of terminating twisted pair cables by allowing the wires to pass through the connector and emerge from the front. This design enables technicians to easily check the wiring order before finalizing the connection. To optimize the electrical performance, the connector is pulled down over the cable jacket and secured tightly at the rear. This method minimizes the distance between the wire twists and contacts, leading to improved performance and reduced waste.

The patented EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool performs both crimping and trimming in a single cycle, ensuring a more reliable and higher-performing connection. All components are manufactured in the USA and feature patented designs.

The innovative Snag Proof Strain Relief is specifically designed to be crimped with EZ-RJ45® plugs. It comes in two patent-pending versions to fit both Cat5/5e and Cat6 plugs. This strain relief integrates with the plug’s primary strain relief, creating a single, cohesive assembly that prevents it from pulling off. Once crimped, this design allows the strain relief to relax slightly, avoiding over-compression of the cable pairs and thus enhancing performance. Additionally, the strain relief’s tab extends over the plug’s locking tab, making the connection snag-proof when managing patch cords.
